Hi 👋🏽, I’m Russell, a UX/UI designer based in Portland, Oregon, with a decade of experience in the tech industry.

I started my career as a Graphic and UX designer at NBC Sports Golf Channel, creating everything from PGA Tour banners to landing pages and the GolfNow mobile app. Building these digital products that helped grow the sport of golf sparked my passion for web and app design.

This experience led me to a current role at Best Buy, where I worked with my team to create intuitive mobile and web solutions for enterprise platforms.

I believe that effective design comes from a deep understanding of the problems at hand. As a systems thinker, I use data to tackle complex issues and develop holistic, user-centered design solutions. I'm passionate about research and creating impactful "Aha!" moments for teams.

Beyond work, you'll often find me making candles, at a park playing pickleball, or going on hiking adventures with my wife.
